Visitors are welcome and are required to pay an attendance fee of $10.00
(GST exempt.)
Meetings are always interesting and enjoyable, providing fellowship,
support and advice for members and visitors in a safe, friendly, non-threatening
environment. If any suggestions are made by the audience for improvements
to an idea / invention being presented, the suggestion becomes the property
of the inventor. Come along and bring your idea, prototype, model, or
even the thing you made years ago if it's still working. We can help you
by brainstorming and maybe make it a success.

ARRK South Australian Manager Ian Bridge and Peter Lucas ARRK
National Sales Manager from Melbourne delivered a presentation on
Rapid Prototyping. This is the next stage after you have done a design
and graphics of your invention using 3D CAD. - (Three dimensional
Computer Assisted Design.) The design information gathered by 3D CAD
is fed into a machine that "builds up" your prototype using laser
beams that harden an epoxy resin. Other prototyping methods were also
described.
A very informative presentation with many samples of their work.
